Formlabs SLS 3D Printer: Fuse Series

North America's No. 1 share. The latest unit that has overcome the challenges of powder sintering layering (SLS) method. - Small lot production, right on the spot.

SLS 3D printing is a 3D printing technology that differs from other manufacturing methods in that it is designed for batch production of multiple varieties or dozens of the same item. SLS has the advantage of being able to manufacture high-strength and durable functional parts efficiently; however, traditional SLS faced challenges such as powder scattering and the high cost of equipment, which often exceeds tens of millions of yen. To overcome these challenges associated with traditional SLS, Formlabs developed the Fuse series, a compact benchtop system that is easy for anyone to operate. It features a dedicated post-processing machine equipped with a negative pressure system to address powder scattering, and it has been redesigned to provide a consistent and simple workflow from printing to post-processing, all at a significantly lower cost. In just one year since its launch, the Fuse 1 gained the number one market share in the North American SLS market. It has now evolved into the Fuse 1+ 30W, which is equipped with a 30W laser that doubles the printing speed, and new materials are continuously being developed and released. With the expanded capabilities of additive manufacturing, design philosophies are changing, the concepts of prototyping and validation are evolving, and manufacturing is beginning to step into a new stage.

Utilization of SLS Method 3D Printers in Manufacturing Sites

We provide support for the introduction of 3D printers! You can see the actual [Fuse 1+ 30W] model at our showroom.

Our company, which specializes in the design and manufacturing of production equipment, introduced Formlabs' 3D printers in 2022. In 2024, we became a sales partner for Formlabs. As a user of the 3D printer [Fuse 1+ 30W], we understand: - How to incorporate 3D printed parts into production equipment - The reduction in lead times and costs achieved through the introduction of 3D printers - The importance of designing with 3D printing in mind We will share these insights and propose how you can utilize 3D printers from a user perspective. "If you're concerned about the strength and precision of parts, but are interested in 3D printers..." "I've implemented one, but I'm not utilizing it beyond making jigs..." If you have such concerns, please feel free to contact us. https://form.3fit.net/ *F.I.T. Co., Ltd. is an authorized distributor of Formlabs products.
